Group Interviews
Interviews will happen through Zoom and will be in groups of 3-4 people.
You will be scheduled at a specific time and you will need to join the zoom meeting to talk directly with the Host Company representative.
Pro Tips
- DO A TEST-RUN WITH YOUR COMPUTER.
Test your internet, audio, and video set up; and make sure everything is working. - PICK THE PERFECT SPOT.
Make sure it isn’t too dark but also stay away from overhead lights during the interview. Natural light is best and try to sit directly in front of your camera. - MINIMIZE DISTRACTIONS.
Silence anything that could interfere with your conversation, including your phone and email notifications on your computer. Make sure no one else is around when you are completing your interview, including pets. - CALM YOUR NERVES.
Inhale and Exhale and just let it go! Try to enjoy the conversation. Employers are looking more mostly at your attitude and personality. - EXPRESS WITH CONFIDENCE BUT BE RESPECTFUL.
Avoid slang and if you don’t understand the question, ask politely to be repeated: “Could you please repeat” “Comme again” or “I’m sorry I didn’t catch that”
